T.J. J. Mayers transferware platter in the "Rhone Scenery" pattern and the less common mulberry color, more of a gray than purple. Made in the mid-19th century. Stand not included.

Julia and Bill Bishop have been collecting art and antiques for more than 50 years. In the '90s they showed at the semi-annual Round Top Antiques Show in Texas. Stock includes quality antique and vintage porcelain bird and fish plates, crockery, glassware, flower frogs, wall pockets, chalk-ware, old tools, farm items, 19th-century American furniture, mirrors, trays, and tins. Julia is an interior designer with more than 40 year's experience with her own company and is a member of IIDA.
