Washington: The Capital City and Its Part in the History of the Nation by Rufus Rockwell Wilson. Philadelphia: J. B. Lippincott Co., 1902. In two volumes. 831 total pages, burgundy cloth with gilt lettering and decoration on spines, 12 black white plates (six in each). Beautiful set. The history of the US capital, its buildings, and surroundings. Spine heads have gentle wear. Frontispiece in volume I is loose. Otherwise clean, crisp, tight, in excellent condition.
