As described by Vintage Print Gallery

Set of four hand-colored engravings by Georges Cuvier (1769 – 1832). As a young adult, Georges Cuvier took a position as a tutor to a noble family in Normandy, where he also made a reputation for himself as a naturalist. In 1795, naturalist Étienne Geoffroy Saint-Hilaire invited him to come to Paris, where he was appointed as a professor of animal anatomy at the newly reformed Musée National d'Histoire Naturelle.

An antique print is a dazzling way to add a sense of history to your surroundings. And when the print is impeccably framed, you'll be adding elegance to a wall. Vintage Print Gallery's collection is impressive not just in the quality of its offering but also in its breadth, which ranges from 18th-century botanical studies to 19th-century equestrian chromolithographs, to fashion illustrations from the early 20th century.
