Why We Love This

This antique (c. 1910) red-work quilt is from an estate in Pennsylvania. All hand-quilted and embroidered images: children, animals, birds, flowers, activities, and an initial "S." The back is white, and the batting is thin. Red triple-stripe borders all around. Signs of wear especially around the edges, but still functional and appealing.
