Butterflies Late Loves: The Further Travels and Adventures of a Victorian Lady by Margaret Fountaine. Topsfield, MA: Salem House, 1986. First American Edition. 141 pp. Hardcover w/ dust jacket. Trace of shelfwear to DJ, apparently unread. In 1940, 10 cases of butterflies were delivered to the Castle Museum in Norwich with instructions not to open the box until 1978, at which point Fountaine's diaries were discovered.This volume contains the diaries from 1913-death.
About the Seller
Julie Goldman has been collecting books all her life. As a child, she spent many days haunting the used book stores on 4th Avenue in NYC with her father. Most collectors become booksellers out of necessity, and Goldman began selling about 15 years ago. The library lions are the pair of stone lions who guard the New York Public Library.
