Why We Love This

The Zanesville Stoneware Company was formed in 1889 and continues to produce quality high-fired pottery today. Known for incorporating Arts Craft Art Deco styles into their product, Zanesville was at the forefront of creating a line of "Garden Pottery" in the 1920s. This stoneware vase in a high gloss black glaze was produced to be used either in the home or in the garden. The shape number "37" is incised in the bottom of the vase and it is well documented in Zanesville reference books.
