As described by
A unique vintage textile from the western Indian state of Gujarat. These woolen shawls are handwoven by a local Gujarati weaver, dyed by the crafts people of the Khatri caste, and finally sent to the Rabari family artisans for embroidery. This throw, which was originally stitched as a shawl, was used as a dowry piece for a young woman's marriage.
