As described by
A unique vintage Vaghadia Rabari “Ludi” from Gujarat. These woolen textiles were handwoven by the local weaver, turned over to the Khatri craft people for tie-dying, and then to the Rabari artisans for embroidery. This throw, which was originally intended as a shawl, was used as a dowry piece for a young woman's marriage. Considering its history, it makes a wonderful wedding, hostess, or housewarming gift.
