As described by Tansu Design

Japanese silk brocade maru obi (woman's kimono belt). Taisho period (C. 1920). The maru obi is the most formal and was used for weddings. Colorful wave design sewn with gold and silver metal threads are on both sides of the obi. It can be used as a table runner or as a wall hanging.
