Why We Love This

George Rumrill designed Art Pottery for a number of pottery companies, most notably Red Wing from 1931-37. In the years that followed, 1938 -42 he established agreements with Shawnee, Gonder and Florence Pottery all located near the hub of pottery production - Zanesville, Ohio. Produced during that time is this Art Deco-inspired footed vase, shape H-8, standing 9" tall in the Cadet Blue glaze. Bottom incised "rumrill".
