As described by Tinsel Trading Company

These four tiny light copper 1.75"L tassels were made in France in the early 1900s and have never been used. The fringe is made from a coiled metal wire known as bouillon. These rare tassels are lovely when used on ornaments, in jewelry, or to embellish tiny pillows.

About the Seller

Tinsel Trading Company

Tinsel Trading Company was founded in 1933 by Arch Bergoffen, who passed it on, along with his love for metallic trim, to his granddaughter Marcia Ceppos. We specialized in antique trims from France, but soon expanded to vintage adornments for garments and interior design, including flowers, tassels, ribbons, appliqu├ęs, passementerie and more. Based in the garment center in New York, we are presenting a curated selection from our archives.
