Landscape by Cesare Ricciardi, a painter of society portraits, landscapes and the Philadelphia area. Ricciardi lived most of his life in Philadelphia and began his formal art studies at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, training under the instruction of Thomas Anshutz, Cecilia Beaux, Hugh Breckenridge, Robert Henri, Leopold Seiffert. His work was exhibited at the Pennsylvania Academy, Corcoran Biennials, National Academy of Design, and the Art Institute of Chicago.
