Japanese tea set of 11 pieces made in the 1920s or earlier. Signed "Made in Japan" with the maker's mark. Features a whimsical figural design with gold decoration on a brown and multicolor background. Includes teapot, creamer, sugar bowl, four cups and four saucers. The teapot and sugar bowl have removable lids. Dimensions: teapot, 8"L x 3"W x 8"H; sugar bowl, 5"L x 2.5"W x 3.5"H; creamer, 3.75"L x 2.5"W x 3"H; cup, 2.75"L x 2.25"H x 2"W; saucer, 4.5"Dia x .75"H.
