Large limited edition mezzotint, one of an edition of only 250, printed by hand from the original engraved copper plate. Depicts Churchill, who became England's prime minister in May, 1940, standing outside 10 Downing St. This engraving was struck in 2000 from the original plate. Engraved by Henry Macbeth Raeburn (1860-1947), a noted Scottish painter and engraver. With facsimile Churchill signature beneath portrait. Displayed in English bird's eye walnut frame.
