As described by
Neo-Baroque: A Sign of the Times by Omar Calabrese, Foreword by Umberto Eco. Princeton: Princeton University Press, 1992. First American Edition, published in Italy in 1987. 227 pages. Hardcover with dust jacket. Like new. Discusses the trends of virtuosity, instability and change that were characteristic of the Baroque Period. To put it simply, everything eventually comes back in style.
