Abstract Expressionist calla lilies by well-listed artist James A. Coughlin (1926-1979). The artist, best known for his abstracts, was born in New York. He studied at the prestigious Art Student's League, the Brooklyn Museum of Art, and Temple University. He has shown all over the country but was very active in California. Signed lower right and dated 1960. Unframed.
