Why We Love This

A Chinese Child's Day by Anice Terhune. New York: G. Schirmer, undated (circa 1910). First Edition. Hardcover, 34 pages. This is a lovely collection of 15 songs for and about children, with piano music, and an illustration for each song by Albertine Randall Wheelan. A brilliant copy, never used and as new in pictorial paper on boards and a cloth spine, with its plain glassine dust jacket remarkably still intact. Very fine and collectible.

About Barbara Farnsworth

My bookstore, an old wooden building at the edge of a New England trout stream, houses thousands of used, rare and antiquarian books, with particular emphasis on Home and Garden subjects -- food and drink, gardening, interior design and architecture. I also carry titles on fashion, children's books and literature. Books really do furnish a room, beautifully!
