Figural River School landscape by Louis Michel Eilshemius. Signed lower left and dated 1920 lower right. Eilshemius was an eccentric artist and referred to himself as the "Grand Parnassian Transcendental Eagle of the Arts." He lived in Europe from 1873 to 1881, attended Cornell and the Art Students League in New York, and from 1886 to 1887, the Academie Julian in Paris. Canvas, 11"L x 8.5"W.
