Why We Love This

David Haeger opened a brick company providing building materials to reconstruct Chicago after the fire of 1871. Haeger continues to flourish today and is known for its award-winning art pottery as well as its lines of florist-ware. This 1970s footed vase is embossed with a repetitive leaf design the encircles the lower two-thirds of the vase. A very small piece of clay on the rim is missing leaving a minor indent under the glaze, a production error. The vase is bottom stamped "Haeger."
