A colored lithograph map of the world with an "ethnographic chart showing the distribution of the Races of Men." This map was created by Edwin J. Houston and originally included in the book Elements of Physical Geography: for the use of Schools, Academies and Colleges, published by Eldredge and Brother in Philadelphia in 1894. Houston was a noted 19th-century academic and scholar. Image, 10"W x 7.5"H; mat, 11"W x 14"H.
