As described by
The Old-Book Peddler and Other Tales for Bibliophiles by Stefan Zweig. Chicaog: Caxton Club, 1937. Only 200 copies. Hardcover, 107 pages, with a preface by the translator, Theodore W. Koch. A classic in the literature of book-collecting. The endpapers are slightly browned, otherwise this is a fine copy in printed cloth on boards with paper title labels.
About the Seller
My bookstore, an old wooden building at the edge of a New England trout stream, houses thousands of used, rare and antiquarian books, with particular emphasis on Home and Garden subjects -- food and drink, gardening, interior design and architecture. I also carry titles on fashion, children's books and literature. Books really do furnish a room, beautifully!
