Abingdon Potteries, Inc. of Abingdon, Illinois began making a line of molded ceramics in 1934. The "Shell" line was issued throughout the 1940s. This oval seashell vase (mold #507) has a high-gloss blue glaze and is marked on the underside with the Abingdon stamp.
