As described by L'Affichiste Vintage Posters

A Cappiello pochoir printed in Paris in 1899 by La Revue Blanche, an important art and literary review involved with emerging art movements. In this early pochoir (stencil) by Cappiello, the style, grace, skill, and elegance of the artist's hand is apparent. Roughly 20-30 years later, these same skills would make him one of the most sought-after and prolific poster artists of the early 1900s.
