As described by
Denise Otis' Grounds for Pleasure: Four Centuries of the American Garden was published in 2002 by Harry S. Abrams in New York. Hardcover, 352 pages, 333 illustrations, with 182 of them in color. An inspiring view of American gardening, and a very fine copy in green decorative paper on boards and a pictorial dust jacket.
About the Seller
My bookstore, an old wooden building at the edge of a New England trout stream, houses thousands of used, rare and antiquarian books, with particular emphasis on Home and Garden subjects -- food and drink, gardening, interior design and architecture. I also carry titles on fashion, children's books and literature. Books really do furnish a room, beautifully!
