Why We Love This

Abingdon Potteries, Inc. of Abingdon, Illinois began making a line of molded ceramics in 1934. This sleek vase has a scalloped rim and was issued in 1947-'48. An Abingdon catalog describes the glaze color, Jonquil Yellow, as "a transparent, high luster yellow." The vase, mold #566, is marked on the underside with the Abingdon stamp.
