Why We Love This

Photograph of Laura, signed by Gerald Cross. The photograph is done in the Bromoil transfer process. The Bromoil process was an early photographic process that was very popular with the Pictorialists during the first half of the 20th century producing photographs that looked similar to paintings. Exhibition label on verso along with twelve labels from camera groups around the country where it was shown. May need to be rematted. Image, 9 3/8"H x 6 1/2"W.
