As described by
Beautiful American server, circa 1815. Masterfully carved columns with acanthus leaves and pineapples. Beautifully carved lobed melon front feet with turned feet at the rear. Lobed feet are typical of early Baltimore schools but are not limited to this area. Overall excellent condition with a working key. The bottom lock is not functional. There is a crack on one side, pictured. Some minor wear associated with age. Appears to be constructed of walnut and pine.
