Blue Langley's Arch by Christopher de Lotbinière. New York, 1999. Framed etching from three plates, printed on heavy watercolor paper. Image, 11.5"L x 11.5"H. A study inspired by the designs of an 18th-century British architect named Batty Langley, working in the classical tradition in London. Displayed in a giltwood frame. Mat is gesso and gold. Hand-printed by the artist.
