Sunny oil painting by listed California artist Theodore Albert Black who was active from the 1930s through the 1950s and exhibited at the Crocker Museum. He is listed in Eden Hughes' book Artists in California, 1786-1940. This cheery example of his work features a white pitcher full of white and yellow flowers. Signed "TAB" lower right, dated 1957 and titled Unfinished. Presented in a beautiful period giltwood frame.
