    Stirrin' the Pots on Daufuskie by Billie Burn. Spartanburg, SC: Reprint Co., 1992. First Edition, 6th printing of 1985 book. 197 pgs. Softcover. Signed. Daufuskie is a sea island between Savannah, GA, and Hilton Head Island, SC, over 2 miles offshore with a full-time population of around 250. It was populated by Gullahs, descendants of freed slaves with their own language cuisine until it became a tourist spot. The book contains old photos, recipes, reproduced from handwritten pp.
