As described by Christopher de Lotbinière's Rare Books

Jamaica Inn by Daphne du Maurier. Garden City: Doubleday Doran, 1937. First US edition, unstated printing from year after first. In scarce, original dust jacket with wonderful illustration by Rex Whistler. du Maurier's 'Tapestry of High Adventure' pits Mary Yellan against creepy relatives and sinister ship plunderers on the wild Cornish coast. This was du Maurier's first successful novel, a Gothic classic. Book is very good; jacket has chip from spine top and wear to edges and corners.
