As described by Billy Blue Eye

Red Wing Pottery (1878-1967) of Red Wing, MN contracted with and produced a line of art pottery designed by George Rumrill from 1932 to 1937. Rumrill was known for distinctive glazes, including this pale yellow to deep ocher and light brown ombré vase from the "Mandarin Group" with a strong Asian architectural influence. There are numerous pinhole glaze pops on the bottom and a small glaze smear. See photos. The vase is faintly marked on underside "310 RumRill."
