As described by Billy Blue Eye

Red Wing Pottery (1878-1967) of Red Wing, Minnesota began art pottery production in the 1920s. This neoclassical-style footed vase has a scalloped rim and scroll handles with minimal interior crazing and a single under-glaze production freckle. (Lower center, see photo.) It has a semi-matte finish that is soft to the touch. Marked on underside "Red Wing U.S.A. 946."
