Why We Love This

The Dinner Calendar, 1915 by Fannie Merritt Farmer, author of The Boston Cooking School Cook Book. Each page has a week's worth of dinner recipes. Pages in perfect condition. Published in 1914 by Sully and Kleinteich, NY. Paper covers with rope at top for hanging. Unusual, and rare to have lasted this long.

About L. Brook Rare Books

I've been a dealer in rare books and art for over 30 years. I spent my early years training and providing animals for films, stage and TV. It was great fun, and evolved into a love for finding rare books and art, with a bias towards things "dog, horse and cat." I look for rarity, condition, and price when deciding which items to offer for sale. Uniqueness and value are what will drive my site—and although my love of animals is obvious, I strive to offer items that are diverse and exciting.
