Why We Love This

Large early-19th-century elmwood armoire from Shanxi province in China. Very good figural design and color on the doors with excellent hand-carved details. This is an authentic Chinese antique and very valuable as Chinese antiques over 100-years-old can no longer be imported into the United States.

About Maison Suzanne Gallery

Maison Suzanne Gallery offers an eclectic mix of antique European and Asian furniture, textiles, lighting and artwork. Each piece is carefully selected to work with today's interiors. Many of our European chairs and settees are restored and upholstered in unexpected antique textiles to create pieces that are destined to become heirlooms. Our antique textiles, collected from Europe, India, Morocco and Japan, are made into one-of-a-kind pillows. We feel very fortunate to share these treasures.
