As described by Susie's Antiques & Stained Glass

Very early flow blue serving platter by Copeland Garrett (Spode Works, Stoke). The bright flow blue color has a floral design with butterflies and flowers. The butterflies are stylized, their wings feathery layers. This is a heavy, square stoneware piece large enough to hold a turkey. The pattern is unnamed, which was typical of Copeland Garrett pieces.

Susie's Antiques & Stained Glass

I have a passion for fine china, pottery and glassware and love enjoying a meal on an antique plate. Finding a new life for something is in my blood. I used to wander through my grandmother's house and see how she reused things from her past--nothing went to waste. For more than 20 years I have been seeking, finding, using and passing on the treasures I discover and have made sharing those treasures a full time adventure.
