Why We Love This

Watercolor of an oceanside street by award-winning artist Edith Palombi (1926-2002). Palombi was born in Germany, near the French border. In 1947 she moved to the U.S. and obtained a degree in fine art. In 1985 she moved to Puerto Vallarta and was recognized as one of the best technical watercolorists in Mexico. This colorful work features lovely houses and palm trees with a view of the ocean and sailboats peeking through. Signed and dated 1971 lower right. Unframed.
