As described by Cynthia Belliveau

19th-century watercolor of a figure and child walking along a path through the rocky hillside by A. Mosso. The masterful work features beautiful light and shadow work. The two figures are dwarfed by the sharp rising cliffs. The work is serene and peaceful and the palette soft and earthy with delicate and sensitive brushwork. Signed lower left. The location is illegibly written lower right. Presented in a mat under glass in a giltwood frame.
