Why We Love This

A signed copy of The Animal Fair by Thad Stem. One of the notable writers of his time in North Carolina, Mr. Stem long wrote essays for the Raleigh News Observer and this book is a collection of essays about wild and crazy animals... but really he's talking out us. Very clever, laugh-out-loud Southern stories. Published by Jr. McNally of Charlotte in 1960. Hardcover with dust jacket. Not illustrated. No edition stated, but presumed 1st. 112 pages.
