As described by
The Space Child's Mother Goose from 1958, when space exploration was heating up as a humanoid obsession. A stated 1st printing from Simon Schuster, the verses are by Frederick Winsor, illustrations by Marian Parry. Excellent endpapers! Very little age wear. Inside 45 pages + glossary of technical terms in crisp, clean condition. White smudge on back cover. Title page has initials PLC in a vertical design, probably PO's book stamp. Wonderful, whimsical, and very hard to find!
