Why We Love This

Mopsa the Fairy by Jean Ingelow. London: J.M. Dent, 1964. First printing of this edition. 142 pages. Includes four color plates and 18 black and white illustrations by Dora Curtis. Well-made reprint in the Children's Illustrated Classics series of a favorite Victorian tale first published in 1867. Very good copy in patterned boards and a lightly worn dust jacket.

About Barbara Farnsworth

My bookstore, an old wooden building at the edge of a New England trout stream, houses thousands of used, rare and antiquarian books, with particular emphasis on Home and Garden subjects -- food and drink, gardening, interior design and architecture. I also carry titles on fashion, children's books and literature. Books really do furnish a room, beautifully!
