Inscribed by Markham to Clarence Barron, founder of "Barron's" and president of Dow-Jones. Bound in green cloth with a design in deep green and gilt, signed at the right-hand corner of the design with the interlocking initials "DD," for the brilliant Decorative Designers design group.
About the Seller
My bookstore, an old wooden building at the edge of a New England trout stream, houses thousands of used, rare and antiquarian books, with particular emphasis on Home and Garden subjects -- food and drink, gardening, interior design and architecture. I also carry titles on fashion, children's books and literature. Books really do furnish a room, beautifully!
