Why We Love This

Brightly colored and intricately painted scene of fishing boats on the shore by listed French artist Lucia Fortuny (b. 1937). Painted in the Pointillist-style with numerous tiny brushstrokes signed lower right, dated 1970. Mounted in a carved giltwood frame with linen liner and gold filet.
