Church in Chernigov, Ukraine is a beautiful painting by Yosef Ostrovsky (1935-1993), 1965. Ostrovsky studied at Odessa Art Academy in the early 1950s and was a member of the Soviet Artists' Union from 1955. From 1989 he lived and worked in Israel, where he was a chief artist of the city of Sderot. A member of the International Association of Art, he was a frequent participant of numerous art exhibitions worldwide.
