Four-drawer dresser from the Janus line by Edward Wormley for Dunbar. USA, 1957. Signed with Dunbar rectangular brass tag. Made of solid walnut with rare Natzler tile inserts on brass pulls, exterior dovetail joinery and square legs. Part of a limited collection of tables and cabinets designed with glazed ceramic tiles by ceramicists Gertrude and Otto Natzler, whose works can be found in over 50 museum collections, including the Smithsonian and the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
