Why We Love This

Early-19th-century American Federal inlaid mahogany secretary bookcase with a two-door step-back cabinet over three full-length drawers, a fold-down writing panel with tooled green leather surface, and extensive inlay. The upper doors open to reveal cubby holes, a bookcase, and five small drawers. As with any early piece, the inlay is handmade of locally harvested American woods. Writing surface, 35"H.
