Why We Love This

Old siphon, or selzer bottle, for serving aerated water. Made by the company P. Gaynon in Givors, in the Rhône department of France (as can be seen by their logo on the bottle). The top has the company's name as well as "Carboniques réunies, Lyon, étain sans plomb" ("Carbonics united, Lyon, unleaded tin") engraved on it. The top acted as a pump to serve selzer. For decoration only.

About Abeille Antiquités

Abeille Antiquités was born out of a passion for vintage and antique items. Rachel Boyette is the daughter of lawyer-turned-antique dealer Beth Fleishman, whose business Knickknack Paddywhack is based in North Carolina. Since graduating from college in 2010, Rachel has lived in France. She developed Abeille Antiquités at the beginning of 2013. With a love for French and English vintage from the first half of the 20th century, she brings you her treasures straight from the source!
