    As described by Lost Art Salon

    Pastel on paper portrait of a woman, by California artist Clyde F. Seavey, mid-20th century. Displayed in a restored period wood frame in dark gold with a black archival mat and etched non-glare glass. Hanging hardware on verso. Signed on verso. Seavey started his own commercial art company in San Francisco with artists Louis Sawl and Paul Nyland and made his living as a commercial artist for magazines such as The American Weekly.
