As described by
Pair of English silverplate dishes shaped like open clam shells with ball feet and etched lines on underside that mimic the lines of the shell. Created by Israel Freeman Son for Sheffield, prior to 1920. Maker's mark is I.F.S. Ltd. with hand holding hammer, but difficult to decipher.
