The Constant Sinner by Mae West. New York: Sheridan House, 1949. First Edition Thus. 313 pages. Hardcover with dust jacket. Inscribed, "Ida Eudler, Best wishes, I done him wrong in this one too." A bestseller when it was first released as Babe Gordon in 1930, the story was adapted for Broadway and renamed The Constant Sinner. The plot involves an interracial love affair set against the backdrop of the Harlem Renaissance.
